Moushumi Hamid, who plays the role of Sujala in this film, said that it was very difficult to shoot in such remote places of Char region. “This tale pertains to the poor, of which I belong,” he remarked. “The process of commencing the shooting for Chare was difficult because I had to face many hours of filming and even nights at the shoot location but still, it was worth it as an actress.”
Filming was set to start in October 2022 but was entirely stopped as a result of the destruction of the sets from Cyclone Sitrong. Filming wrapped up, however, only in April 2023, after these stoppages.
