Tania Brishty will play the lead role in ‘Visarjane Arjan’
Tania Brishty will play the role of Neetu. Neetu works in a private institution, and in this case, her colleagues clearly discriminate against her because of their traditional views. As the festival of Durga Puja approaches, Neetu’s associates trick her with extra responsibilities so that Neetu cannot enjoy the festival.
Also, when he brought ‘nadu’ (a sweet made for worship) that he made himself, some of his colleagues refused to eat it because it was made during the festival of a Hindu deity even though he gave it to them.
In spite of these ridiculous challenges, his narrative does a complete about-turn when his boss is a supporting chief. Rather than allowing conflict to develop, his boss assumes the position of a conciliator and promotes a culture of respect and teamwork among the employees in the organization.
Chayanika Chowdhury, director of ‘Visarjane Arjan’, said that she is very happy to work on the Durga Puja project after a long time. “I did not direct the play for pleasure alone. The story definitely has an underlying message that I think is relevant to this time. I just hope the audience gets a chance to see it the way we made it.”
Through Neetu’s character, Visarjane Arjan sincerely embodies the virtue of selflessness, understanding and coming together for a common purpose to achieve true success.
